One of the amazing things about being in the Flint Hills is the ability to view multiple weather patterns and systems at the same time. The two following photos are a good example. Both were taken  at the same time. The first is looking to the South, where the sky remained clear. The second was taken to the West as a severe storm was building as it was heading to the North. Cheers to the ever changing beauty of the Flint Hills.
